This shop specializes in vintage and antique beads and jewelry supplies ranging from 40 – 100 years or older, and many of my items will show wear or quirks that are typical of vintage glass. For example, antique seed beads often have imperfect shaping and less consistent sizing than their contemporary counterparts; they also have history and unique colors that are no longer being produced. Similarly, vintage stones may have small nicks around the edges or tiny “fleabites” on the foiled backs; on the upside, they’re old, uncommon, collectible and beautiful. The photos and descriptions will clearly detail the item’s condition. If you’re still unsure, please ask.
It’s important to have a clear understanding of what you’re buying, so please be sure to read the descriptions and look at all of the photos! If you’re not sure, or if you don’t understand something, please ask. All listings describe the quantities and condition for each item. If you’re not familiar with bead sizes or terms, I am happy to explain.
