These antique Bohemian glass nailhead beads have a gorgeous transparent cobalt blue color. These beads have faceted tops and flat backs, with a single hole. They measure about 4 mm each.

These beads were produced between the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. They were used predominantly by the garment industry, as their flat backs make them excellent for embellishing clothing and other fabrics. They were also used as jewelry components, strung with thread or wire.
