Description
These vintage European glass sew on beads date back to the turn of the century. They’re flat backed beads in a square shape with a faceted top. They measure about 3mm, and have a single hole. The classic black is so versatile, and works beautifully for Victorian style pieces as well as more contemporary work.
MATERIALS, MEASUREMENTS & QUANTITIES
✭ Material = glass
✭ Size = 3 mm
✭ Quantity = 24 beads
Some of the pictures show the master hank, to better convey color and style. This listing is for one full strand (or the loose equivalent) which is about 24 of these uncommon old beads. As you can see from the photos that show the full hanks, some these beads have a chalky residue; this is very easy to wipe (or rinse) off.
They can be used for jewelry design, bead embroidery, crazy quilting, scrapbooking, mixed media art and anything else your creative heart desires 🙂
