Description
These 1st quality 1960’s – 1970’s vintage Czech Optima rhinestones are an early predecessor to the ever popular Preciosa stones. They’re pointback chatons with gold foil and flat tables with beveled faceted borders. The rhinestones have been photographed in both direct and diffused light to give a clear sense of color. Please note that the highly magnified images show tiny flakes of dust (not scratches) that are not visible to the naked eye.
The color is Aquamarine, which is a lovely transparent pale blue.
These are pointback rhinestones, which can be glued or mounted in bezels; they are not beads, so they do not have holes.
