Description
These old raw brass settings were an east coast warehouse find. They’re most likely from the 1970’s or 80’s, and the unfinished brass has remained relatively shiny with just a bit of patina here and there to hint at its age. Each setting measures 8×10 mm, and has a closed back. An 8×10 calibrated cabochon will fit snugly into the setting, and the 4 prongs can be bent down to hold the stone in place. These settings are about 4-5mm deep, and there is a brass loop or slide on the back side of the setting.
The aged brass can be painted, patina’d and/or sealed.
